Ford Prepare All New Wild Track Ranger in BIMS

BANGKOK - Ford Motor Company is ready to launch the All New Ranger in the arena of Bangkok International Motor Show (BIMS) the 32nd at Impact Arena, Muang Thong Thani, 25 March-4 April 2010. Not only that, Ford was determined to present an attractive exhibition stand, creating a memorable experience for visitors and most interactive South-East Asia.

Because the domestic launch of the new Ranger is a white elephant Ford's production base in ASEAN and the vehicle will be exported to 180 countries in the world, including Indonesia. Mass production of its own new begins and end of this year. In addition to the new Ranger, Ford booth will feature several leading models like the Fiesta, new Focus with special equipment, Everest and Ford Ranger Wild Track edition.

Ford is also preparing a variety of exciting entertainment and interactive display so it can suck up 1.5 million (estimate) BIMS visitors. Some facilities are created, presenter robots, 3D mini theater, driving simulators for a new Ranger, video games safe driving Driving Skills for Life virtual, and challenge the ability of personal interactive attraction.

Peter Fleet, Ford's president of the ASEAN in an official statement received said that Ford set up all the resources for this exhibition and show how important the Ranger as a mainstay business. "ASEAN, with Thailand as a center of production is the main target in our growth strategy in Asia Pacific and Africa. Thus, the use of BIMS to introduce our new global Ranger is a natural thing,"said Fleet.

"Stand Ford's automotive exhibition reflects our global presence and strategy held in some of the largest automotive industry exhibition in the world. This includes a number of our global asset - the game and advanced display and interactive exhibits that are very popular in the automotive, from Detroit, Shanghai to Geneva, "Said Saroj Kitafeungfoo, Vice President, Marketing, Sales and Service, Ford Thailand.
